My Digital Photostory

I created my photostory through IMovie on my mac laptop.  The video was based on my past, present and future.  This project can be used for older students starting from the last grades of elementary and up.  I can see myself using this with a  social studies project.  My students can create a video on the different environments they are part of, and note was so special about it, and if they could make any changes, what would they be?  I think my students will learn a lot about themselves, and their fellow classmates.

I really enjoyed this project; it brought back memories!

Having FUN with Glogster

Glogster was really fun to use! I have to agree with others, it is a bit confusing to use at first, but once you get the hang of it, you're good to go!  I can definitely  see myself using this program in the classroom; it can be used as a form of self-expression for many students.

The theme of my glog, was photography. Some of the images are mine (tree, stairs,downtown buildings,dog,and matador), and the others are either some of my favorite photographs or cute images I found.

These are the images I worked on.  I had a lot of fun creating all three of them!

  picnik work

I used the cross process and vignette effects, and added the poloraid border. 

For the names, I used the text tool bar, and finished it off with cute little stamps!

piZap work

I turned my picture to black and white, created a vignette effect, and added a border.

paint work

In this photograph I added a jaguar that I formed with shapes, lines, and curves. 

Then, I used text tool bar twice to create the shadow effect.
